Such a convenient location (on the terrace) and a very relaxing lobby area as you wait! Being my first acupuncture treatment I didn’t know what to expect but Nate was 100% professional and very welcoming. I recommend anyone to book with Nate because after my treatment I had the best sleep of my life and the stress relief through my back is insane. Thanks Nate!

Nate is so talented at what he does! Was at physio for 6months before making the switch to acupuncture and he sorted me out within 4 sessions. Can’t recommend enough.

I highly recommend Nate at Acute Acupuncture. I developed a varicose vein in my left leg after surgery in November 2024, and by January 2025 it was affecting my comfort and mobility, and putting me at risk for DVT. I began seeing Nate for acupuncture, and not only did his treatments reduce my symptoms, but they also improved the condition of the vein so significantly that I was able to opt for a far less invasive surgery.
My GP was genuinely impressed with the progress, and when I saw my vein specialist in March, she booked me in for a procedure in May. I continued acupuncture throughout, and at my follow-up appointment last week, the vein specialist took one look at my leg and called Nate a "miracle worker."
She had expected me to have lingering damage or scarring for 6–12 months post-procedure, but I’ve healed almost completely. My GP has since commented again on how incredible the results have been.
Nate is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping. If you’re considering acupuncture for anything vascular or post-surgical--go see him. You’re in expert hands. - Chris Lam Sam··from Google
I developed Bell’s palsy very suddenly, and a week later was lucky enough to be seen by Nate at Acute Acupuncture. At that point, I couldn’t move the left side of my face at all and was slurring my speech. As a public speaker, this was incredibly worrying. My ability to communicate clearly and expressively is my livelihood, and I knew someone personally who has never fully recovered from Bell’s. I was willing to try anything, including Nate’s electro-acupuncture.
From the very first consultation, Nate was thorough, clear, and incredibly supportive. He explained that treatment for Bell’s palsy is one of the most uncomfortable he offers, and he wasn’t exaggerating. Six needles to the face, including one in the temple nerve on each side, with low-voltage current passing through them, plus two regular needles in the lower legs in special points that helped calm the farm. Nate guided me through it all with care and honesty, and reminded me that with Bell’s, acting quickly is everything. Thankfully, he was right.
I will freely admit that as I lay there on the table in that first session, the muscles in my face spasming uncomfortably, I honestly did wonder if I had made a mistake. But I'm so glad I stuck it out.
At the end of that difficult first session, I looked in the mirror and saw that I could ever so slightly move the left corner of my mouth again. That was all the proof I needed. Over the next three days, I regained a few more millimetres of movement. I went back for five more sessions over the following three weeks, and each time I walked out of his clinic able to do more. After my final appointment, I could raise my eyebrow, smile, and fully close my eyelid again.
Amazingly, when I was in the hospital on day one thinking I was having a stroke, no one there or in the follow-up GP system suggested this "alternative" treatment to me. I was really fortunate that a family member suggested it, and that another Bell's palsy review in this thread also pointed to successful recoveries thanks to Nate’s work. He really knows his stuff.
If you or someone you know is living with Bell’s palsy, please act on this review. You can even look me up online (Google my name) if you want to drop me a line and chat. I’m living proof it works. But don’t wait. Starting treatment quickly was absolutely the key.
