Services
***If you know you want acupuncture and you have already booked in for an acupuncture treatment at Acute Acupuncture Wellington Central, then this is NOT necessary or mandatory to book this service. However, if you still have questions then you may want to book this service.***
NOTE: Even if you have been to the clinic for a different reason or a different ACC claim, you will still need to do an initial ACC treatment as this is a New Claim. The new information will need to be collected to be able to provide this information to ACC regard to the New claim. If you do not have evidence of your ACC claim you may be charged the normal price of an acupuncture treatment until this evidence has been provided to the clinic.
***PLEASE NOTE: Switching Practitioners or Switching Acupuncture Clinics will require a New Initial ACC consultation. Any injuries that are over 12 months old may require additional paperwork (ACC32), this needs to be conducted at the clinic and will need to be provided to ACC prior to being approved by ACC. Before any subsidized ACC treatments can commence, your ACC32 will need to be approved by ACC. You also only get 12 treatments of acupuncture or 12 weeks of subsidized treatments from the initial treatment date at the clinic or other clinic you started your treatments with or whichever of the 12 comes first. The patient may be charged the full cost of treatments until your ACC32 request has been approved. Note: this may take ACC 4-6 weeks to be approved.***

Murni is quite simply the best massage therapist in Wellington. Very intuitive, great skills. And a lovely person. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I would highly recommend Nate to anyone seeking acupuncture. Last month I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy and woke up to the right side of my face paralysed - this led me to seek treatment through acupuncture. I’ve found Nate to be highly knowledgeable and very effective in his treatment. My Bell’s Palsy has improved massively with each session and I am close to being recovered. I found acupuncture very helpful not only physically but mentally to get me through this period of time + found Nate’s guidance on general health very helpful. I also suffer from chronic illness (inflammatory bowel disease) with consistent gastrointestinal issues. I’ve found acupuncture improves my digestive symptoms and manages to relax my body in an enjoyable way. Thank you to Nate for his work!!

I’ve had a brilliant experience with Nate so far. During my first consultation I spoke of my pain, and he talked me through different natural remedies to try. In this way, Nate became much more than just my acupuncturist but also my holistic health expert! The atmosphere is incredibly calm and the treatment is professional.
